Assessing eGovernment systems success: A validation of the DeLone and McLean model of information systems success
With the proliferation of the Internet and World Wide Web applications, people are increasingly interacting with government to citizen (G2C) eGovernment systems. It is therefore important to measure the success of G2C eGovernment systems from the citizen's perspective. While general information systems (IS) success models have received much attention from researchers, few studies have been cond...
متن کاملDELONE&MCLEAN SUCCESS MODEL AS A DESCRIPTIVE TOOL IN EVALUATING A VIRTUAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT Key words: DeLone & McLean IS success model, Virtual learning environment, Descriptive approach
This paper contributes the discussion about applying DeLone & McLean success model. Since its introduction in 1992, the model has been widely used and evaluated. In this paper the model is used as a descriptive tool in evaluating a virtual learning environment. The study relies on prior research and does not question the measures. Instead, the model contributes the evaluation and describes the ...
متن کاملThe DeLone and McLean Model of Information Systems Success: A Ten-Year Update
Ten years ago, we presented the DeLone and McLean Information Systems (IS) Success Model as a framework and model for measuring the complexdependent variable in IS research. In this paper, we discuss many of the important IS success research contributions of the last decade, focusing especially on research efforts that apply, validate, challenge, and propose enhancements to our original model. ...
متن کاملThe Use of Meta-Analysis in Validating the Delone and McLean Information Systems Success Model
The measurement of systems success is important to any research on information systems. A research study typically uses several dependent measures as surrogates for systems success. These dependent measures are generally treated as outcome variables which, as a group, vary as a function of certain independent variables. Recently, a process perspective has been advocated to measure system succes...
متن کاملTesting a Modified DeLone and McLean IS Success Model in an E-Commerce Context
An extensive body of research has tested the DeLone and McLean (2003) information systems success model in many contexts. Surprisingly, few of these studies have applied it to e-commerce. A study by Wang (2008) represents one such initiative, but it is crucial to address several remaining gaps associated with that study. Moreover, no e-commerce success model has considered the Arab world, which...
